Mad Disc On will be happening on August 7th and 8th and is under new management. After being successfully run by Jeff and Shelly Maxted, it has been passed on to Chris "Bus" Olig and Kay Powell.

Who: 12 co-ed teams
What: Mixed (co-ed) tournament
Gender ratio is 4/3 (team receiving the pull decides 4M/3F or 4F/3M)
Why: Because there is never enough ultimate

Tournament Schedule:
Each day there will be bagels, bananas, and oranges provided. Teams are guaranteed 7 games, but will most likely have 8. After games on Saturday, teams will gather in the shelter, food and beverages will be provided and gifts will be given out.
Saturday: Tenative captains packet
8:30am Captains Meeting - You must have a representitive there as there are a few things to pass out. TD's cannot be your representitive there as we have other duties to take care of.
Saturday Pool Play
9:00 - 10:15 (hard cap horn at this time)
10:30 - 11:45
12:00 - 13:15
13:30 - 14:45
15:00 - 16:15
Tournament Provided Food at 4:30 in the shelter. We'll have chips, sandwiches, cookies, soda, and a half barrel of Spotted Cow (Beer for those of age).
Prizes will be distributed Saturday at 5pm:
Each team will be given a prize in the morning and they must decide throughout the day who on any of the opposing teams deserves the gift and why.
Other prizes will be for:
Most Spirited Team (one for each pool)
Dirtiest
Best Male and Female (one from each pool)
And, a few to be named, though previous attendants may remember which this are.
Teams will know their placement for Sunday bracket play when prize time begins.
Sunday:
Bottom 8 teams play at 9:00 - 10:15 (Top 4 teams have a first round bye)
10:30 - 12:00
12:15 - 13:45
14:00 - 16:30 Championship game followed by prizes for 1st and 2nd place teams. |
