Mad Disc On

When: August 4th and 5th, 2012
Where: Quisling Park in Middleton, Wi (just west of Madison)
Who: 20 co-ed teams (Up from 12 previous years)
What: Mixed (co-ed) tournament
Gender ratio is 4/3 or 3/4 (team receiving the pull decides 4M/3F or 4F/3M)
Why: Because there is never enough ultimate
Entry Fee: $250. (Rate not confirmed for this year, but will be close to this)

Mad Disc On is a Madison tradition going on its 9th year.

At the Saturday morning captains meeting, each captain will receive an award to be presented at the post game dinner. Saturday play will have 4 pools of 5 teams, with each team playing 4 games and having 1 bye. Following the games, teams will be provided with dinner and beverages, with an awards ceremony happening after dinner. Teams will then send a representative up to present their award to player they played against that did something memorable. Creativity is a must. Other awards will be presented for categories such as: Best sunburn, furthest traveled, oldest player, youngest player, and others you will find out about at the ceremony.

For the championship bracket, first place will receive an ice cream cake declaring them as Mad Disc On champions, with second place receiving a consolation prize. For the beer bracket, both the two top teams will receive beer which they must enjoy watching the championship game (must be of age to partake).
