Rules Changes:
Indoor Ultimate plays by the same rules as outdoors with the exception of these rules:
- Subbing will be on the fly - There will be no stoppage of play except for injuries. Players wishing to sub out must slap hands with the subbing player, and are encouraged to yell SUB to announce letting another player get ready. Players ready to sub in must have one full hand touching the boards and cannot be on the field for more than 5 seconds before being tagged.
- Gender ratio is 3:2 or 2:3. Captains can agree if both halves can be the same ratio or if they are split between the halves. Captains flip and the winning flipper calls for the first half, the losing for the second half. Please be conscientious of teams with injuries or short on numbers.
- Stall is to 7. Stall count will start at 1 and end on 7. Stall is on the S in Seven.
- Walls are in. Net is out. Net in the goal is out, and based on the best perspective of the receiver. Anything above the boards, including anything coming down from the ceiling, is out.
- There is only a pull to start the game and each period. When one team scores, they signify the score by raising the disc over their head and clapping to signify the score, they then lay the disc flat on the ground and the other team can bring the disc back into play straight up from the goal box.
- Stoppage of play is reserved only for injuries, otherwise the clock remains running. Each game is a set amount of time and if fouls cannot be worked out in a rapid manner, captains will rosham for decision (rock, paper, scissors). If there is an injury, it should stop the clock for both fields
- Teams get one 30 second timeout a half. The timing for this starts once the T has been made with the hands and the disc hits the ground. Play must begin again within 60 seconds of the timeout being called. This timeout cannot be called when there is less than 3 minutes left in the game, if they make the T with the disc with under 3 minutes left it is a turnover.
- For Competitive Nights Only: When the buzzer goes off, if one team is winning, the game ends at that moment. If the score is tied, the next score wins. If the disc is in the air, the game ends with that catch.
- For Spirit Nights Only: When the buzzer goes off, the game is over. If you care who won, you're playing on the wrong night.
- All other rules are the same, and keep in mind that Captains can agree to anything so long as the rounds start and end on time.
- Each game will be split into 3 periods and both fields will run off the same clock. The TD will start and stop the clock on field 1, which will be the clock that both fields use. Periods will last 15 minutes with a 5 minute intermission between periods. Each field will use their own scoreboard to keep score, but be aware that Field 2 will add one to the score when you hit the '+3' button.
- Cleats are also allowed on the indoor fields, but NO METAL CLEATS. If we see any metal cleats, you will be asked to take them off, even if they are your only cleats. If you wear them after being asked to take them off again, you will be asked to leave.
Food and Beverage including Alcohol:
- Food provided will be Fruit, Granola Bars, Fruit Snacks, and Chips. Beverages provided will be Coffee, Lemonade, Monster Energy, and Monster Rehab (in limited quantity).
- Keva now has a full liquor license and sells booze. Unfortunately, no liquor license allows carry in, but they are giving us a good discount on taps.
- Micro Brews $10 per pitcher
- Miller Light $7 per pitcher
- Taps will stay open until 2am (or later if enough people request it)
- To clarify, Keva does not allow carry in of alcohol. Any infractions will result in a removal from the facility.
